It is the most commonly used type. It is displayed by illuminating it from the front surface or in daylight. Gloss or matte surface options are available. It is generally produced in the weight range of 440-500 gr/m² and is ideal for building facades, panel coverings and event areas.

2. Mesh (Perforated) Tarpaulin

This material, which has millimetric holes on its surface, provides safety for areas with high wind load. It reduces the pressure on the tarpaulin surface by allowing the wind to pass through, so it can be used safely in high buildings and bridge piers. Eco-Solvent Printing: The industry standard for outdoor tarpaulins. Solvent-based inks melt on the PVC surface at a micro level and integrate with the material. This results in a long-lasting print that is extremely resistant to water, scratches and UV rays. It has less odor than traditional solvent and is perfect for outdoor use.

Latex Printing: It is a water-based, environmentally friendly and almost odorless technology. The ink cures instantly with UV rays and adheres to the surface. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor. It is especially preferred in tarpaulins and textile-based materials to be used in closed areas (shopping malls, fairs, offices). It has high flexibility and does not crack when folded.

UV Printing: It is a high-resolution and instant-drying printing method. It is especially indispensable for fine details, small text and photo quality images. It can be applied to both rigid and flexible materials. Extra protection can be provided with a glossy or matte finish (lamination).

Canvas can be produced in almost unlimited sizes. Standard production widths are 1.5m, 2m, 3m and 3.2m. Production can be made in these widths and in desired lengths (in rolls up to 50-100 meters). For larger surfaces, tarpaulins printed in panels are combined with industrial sewing machines or high-strength adhesives to create a single-piece effect.

• Small Dimensions (1m² - 10m²): For X-banners, roll-ups, table tarpaulins, flagpoles. Provides quick installation and portability.
• Medium Dimensions (10m² - 50m²): Ideal for store fronts, medium-sized panel coverings, fair stand backs, vehicle coverings.
• Large Dimensions (50m² - 500m²+): Building cladding, stadium perimeter advertisements, large construction site closures, industrial facility promotions. These are the dimensions with the highest visual impact.

An important technical detail: The resolution of your digital design file to be sent to printing must match the final size of the tarpaulin. As a general rule, 100 dpi (dots per inch) will be sufficient for a tarpaulin viewed from a distance of 1 meter, and 30-50 dpi will be sufficient for a distance of 10 meters. The Key to a Professional Look: Mounting and Tensioning Systems

Even the best quality tarpaulin can cause an amateur appearance with poor installation. Professional workmanship means that the tarpaulin is properly stretched, does not sag, and is securely fixed against wind load.

Main Mounting Systems:

• Eyelet (Ring) System: Metal rings are attached to the edges of the tarpaulin at certain intervals (usually 50-100 cm). These rings are attached to the structure with rope, cable or fixing hooks. It is an economical and fast solution and is frequently used in temporary applications.
• Keder Tape (Bolt) System: A solid tape is sewn or welded to the edge of the tarpaulin, through which holes are opened to pass bolts. The tarpaulin is securely attached to an aluminum or steel frame via these bolts. Provides a cleaner, smoother and professional finish.
• Tension System with Aluminum Frame: It is especially used in fair stands and indoor applications. The tarpaulin is compressed into special aluminum profiles, creating a perfectly taut and smooth surface. It is easy to disassemble and assemble.
• Steel Rope (Cable) Tension System: It is an extremely professional method preferred in large façade applications. The edges of the tarpaulin are wrapped with steel ropes, and these ropes are connected to the anchor points in the building with tension fasteners called turnbuckles.
